Nalknad Aramane Palace Coorg
Nalknad Palace or Nalkunadu, called Naalnaad Aramane in the local Kodava language, is a palace located in the Kodagu district of the Indian state of Karnataka.
Nalknad Palace was built by a Haleri ruler, Dodda Virarajendr, in the year 1792. This was built by him after he escaped from the Tippu Sultan’s troops. Dodda Virarajendra is said to have married Mahadevammaji at this place in 1796.
