Kareem Forest Park: A Green Marvel in Kerala Kareem Forest Park, also known locally as Kareem’s Forest, is a remarkable example of ecological transformation located in Puliyamkulam village near Parappa in Kasaragod district of Kerala, India. What began as a barren plot of laterite soil transformed over decades into a lush, biodiverse forest, and stands today as one of the few privately created forests in the country and an inspiring ecotourism destination.

By Train

The nearest major railway station is Kanhangad Railway Station, located approximately 23 km away. Regular trains from major Indian cities make this an accessible entry point. After deboarding, visitors can hire taxis or take local transport to reach the forest park.

By Air

For air travelers, the closest large airport is Mangalore International Airport (IXE), situated about 70–75 km away by road. A taxi or bus from the airport can be taken to Kanhangad and then onwards to Kareem Forest Park.
