Mysuru Junction is one of the closest major stations, located roughly 126–140 km from Talakaveri. From there, you can hire a taxi or catch a bus toward Bhagamandala and Talakaveri.

Other nearby stations include Mangalore (~135–140 km) and Hassan (~105 km).

By Road

Talakaveri is about 48 km from Madikeri, the district headquarters of Coorg, and 8 km from Bhagamandala.
