About Chembra Peak
Chembra Peak is located near Meppadi, close to the town of Kalpetta in Wayanad district. The region is characterized by dense forests, tea plantations, and rich biodiversity. One of the most iconic attractions on the trekking route is the heart-shaped lake, a natural water body that remains full throughout the year and has become a popular photo spot.
From the summit area, visitors are rewarded with breathtaking views of Wayanad’s valleys, nearby hills, and on clear days, parts of the Nilgiri ranges.
